Dan Lucas Executive Vice President of Tax and Business Services at oXYGen Financial

Dan was born and raised in Chicago, IL before moving to Atlanta in 1999. He has settled with his wife and three children in Johns Creek, GA. 

Dan graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in accounting.  Within months of graduation, Dan passed all parts of the CPA exam and began his career in the Chicago office of Arthur Andersen, LLP.  Arthur Andersen eventually transferred Dan to their Atlanta office in order to work on more entrepreneurial clients in the Atlanta market. 

After leaving Arthur Andersen, Dan has held several financial executive positions in both small and large companies, as well as owning two of his own businesses. He has developed expertise in accounting, taxation, finance, strategic analysis, and business operations.

Dan is in charge of our Tax and Business division that provides accounting and financial intelligence to both individuals and small businesses.  His focus is to help his clients address building wealth through strategic tax planning. 

Dan joined oXYGen Financial to complement the Private CFO ™ function as oXYGen continuously strives to deliver the most complete and best in class service to all its clients.

Dan holds an active CPA license in Georgia and is a member of both the AICPA and the GSCPA.
